All bed tracks, overdubs are complete after an amazing 12 hour session at the Warehouse Studios in Vancouver, if you don’t know about this studio it’s probably one of the best studios in the world. Jeff did an amazing job laying down the drums on his vintage made in the UK Premier kit. Dan’s bass playing and tones were super rad, but I guess when you have quality like Sadowsky and TC Electronics that’s bound to happen.

I tracked using my Gibson customshop 339 (White Swan) into my MesaBoogie single Rectifier and 3/4back cab. There will be some video footage of these killer tones overall. I think even Eric Johnson would be proud

Big thanks to Eric Mosher who engineered the madness yesterday. What a great step forward, up next… Vocal tracking, and nothing shows you how much work you need than vocal tracking lol.

They produce some of the raddest sounding pedals, so rad that I had to have one. On Sunday I ordered myself the El Capistan Tape Echo after it being introduced to me by my good friend Paolo Scardillo. I’ve been following the UPS Tracking and well it should be here tomorrow!
I also ended up scoring a Made In Japan Boss Chorus Ce-3 which also kills. Geek Vibes for sure!

Wow, T.C. has really done it again! Now, myself being a huge fan of T.C. products am stoked about the release of this pedal. I personally use 2 Nova Delays and a Polytune, I used to have a Nova Verb, but the one thing about their Nova pedals is that they require a 12V adapter, and there isn’t anything small to fit on a pedal board besides a low profile power bar, everything else I’ve looked into can’t give you the required Voltage for more than 1 (Voodoolabs), and I really didn’t want to have 3 wall warts hanging off of my board… Anyways, that’s another adventure I’ll get into another day. Now back to this pedal, if you’re a guitarist and your looking for a clean, true by-pass reverb definitely check this out. The trails are smooth, the spring reverb is fantastic. But don’t take my word for it, check out this review done by Tore.

Well after much deliberation and after many days of humping gear from one space to the next I’ve finally decided to keep what I have, Mesa Boogie Solo Rectifier. I tried out the Mesa Boogie Lone Star 2×12 combo, which, for a small guy like myself is such a pain in the ass to move around. It weighs around 90lbs. Second, I tried the Mesa Boogie Roadster Head, which sounds awesome, but is 12lbs heavier than the Solo Rectifier which makes it harder to move about, and the foot-switch has many many buttons, for a veteran of the 2 channel I was definitely not comfortable with this. The whole purpose of this expedition was to go smaller and have the same quality. So here I am back with my true love, the Solo Rectifier with one new addition, the Fulltone OCD Overdrive which sounds amazing! Great for the Vox or Marshall sound in HP mode or LP which doesn’t colour, giving you tones closer to your amp. So thank you Fulltone for making my life easy. – Sean
