Dan

For his 12th birthday, Dan was given his first guitar. He did not take to playing guitar right away until he learned some punk rock cover songs with Sean in his basement. One day after picking up Sean’s bass that the two of them started writing the first batch of songs that will later become the foundation of friends of 7. It was after listening to virtuoso bass players such as Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke and Jaco Pastorius that Dan found his own voice as a bass player, honing his chops to his own unique style. Dan has played in a few accomplished bands as a bass player around town, but it all started with friends of 7.
